What is hyperpigmentation?
Hyperpigmentation is a common skin condition where areas of the skin may appear darker or uneven either in small patches or spots. The pigmentated patches can vary in size and color when the skin produces extra melanin caused by various factors such as acne scarring, rashes, burns, and bruises. There are also different types of hyperpigmentation like melasma, sunspots, and acne which may appear differently from each other. Common causes of hyperpigmentation
